Party Willy was released by Andrew Broad in April 2004 in two versions: one using the JSW48 game engine (consisting of two parts) and the other one using the JSW128 game engine (and featuring only one file).
It was released as a box set containing: two parts of the 48K version of the game, 128K version of the game, Jet Set Willy: Manic Miner (both the old and new versions), Manic Miner: Jet Set Willy, reniM cinaM (MirrorMM) and ylliW teS teJ (Mirror JSW).
The box set was reissued in February 2005 with updated documentation and completely unchanged TAP files.
The Special Edition was released in April 2007, in reaction to Daniel Gromann's comments on Manic Miner & Jet Set Willy Yahoo! Group and to improve a technical feature in ylliW teS teJ.
