Jet Set Willy: Mind Control is a joint project by Sendy (Alex Cornhill) and Daniel Gromann. It started after Sendy released a set of 7 unfinished game files, called "The Unlucky Seven", in the Yahoo! JSW/MM Club. Impressed by the quality of Sendy's rooms, Daniel Gromann volunteered to put most of them together and create a new, finished and completable game. The result of this endeavour, which eventually embraced also a number of brand-new rooms designed by Daniel and redesigns of four rooms by other authors, was released in December 2005.

The game uses Hacklevel 9 of the JSW128 game engine.
