Spaceman Willy was created by Leslie Marwick back in 1985. It was not known to a wider public until December 2005, when it was published on TZX Vault.
The game features a custom-made loading screen, new room layouts and graphics (including item graphics), new sprites, new title- and in-game tunes and various other novelties, such as a custom-made end sequence and no clock. On the contrary, it preserves the location of the items and the location and movements of the guardians from the original JSW (with the exception of the room "The Comet" [06], where the Hades guardian has been deleted).
