Jet-Set Willy Ivy was the first gamma-released JSW game by Philip Bee. It was released in August 1998. The plot revolves around Willy's starring in a game written by Technician Ted, his arch-enemy, envious of his fame and followers. Ted writes a new game for Willy to star in, in which he seems to be doomed to fail; Ted hopes he will become famous again after Willy's failure. However, Willy can defeat Ted by collecting all the items and going to his bed.
The game offers the player an option of 'Infitite Takes' after loading.
The original release of the game suffers from the Bad Pause-Bug Fix, which Andrew Broad analysed in detail on his website, providing POKEs to eliminate the problem.
