Vampire Hunter Willy was the first JSW game gamma-released by Simon D. Lee. Although its first demo was made public as early as October 2005, the game was gamma-released in December 2011, with a bug-fixed revision launched in February 2012.
GAME PREMISE: Strange things have happened whilst Willy was down the Offy. An evil being has taken over Willy's Mansion, transforming it into a nightmarish shadow of its former glory. The player's task is to help Willy collect the artifacts required to leave this sprawling tortured tenement and return to a life of peace, tranquility and mining.
The game uses Variant Y, Hacklevel 12 of the JSW64 game engine.
Simon D. Lee released several revisions of the game, but unfortunately none of them was completable due to critical bugs. The only completable version in existence is a bug-fixed Z80 snapshot provided by Pavel Plíva (Pavero) in March 2012. The information below related to the completion of the game refers to this snapshot.
