Jet Set Willy: April Showers
Author: Dave Nicholls
Year: 1985
Language: English
The room "April Showers" (47) was published as a type-in in Issue 13 (April 1985) of Your Spectrum. It was meant to be an April Fool joke, to get people to play JSW again long after they had stopped. Your Spectrum ran a competition to find it (the room is situated above "The Beach" and has a one-way exit to the right, which leads to "The Attic"). There is a single item in the room and it is, in fact, the invisible item repositioned from its original location of "First Landing".
The "April Showers" room has been included in the games Party Willy (by Andrew Broad, 2004; Special Edition 2007) and Jet Set Willy: The 2010 Megamix (and its first incarnation Jet Set Willy: The 2005 Megamix) (by Daniel Gromann, Paul Equinox Collins and others, 2010 and 2005, respectively).
