Jet Set Willy - The Mr Noseybonk Edition
Author: Ian Rushforth
Year: 2019
Language: English
A version in which "the Retro Factor has been doubled by the introduction of Mr Noseybonk" - a recurring character from the early 1980s BBC children's TV show "Jigsaw" - as the main protagonist.
The title-screen music in this version is an adaptation of the theme tune from "Jigsaw", whilst Noseybonk's theme ("A Hippo Called Hubert" by Joe Griffiths) is collectively represented by the in-game music and the coda that plays during the Game Over sequence.
The game features a custom loading screen, Willy and Maria's edited sprites and an edit making "Conservatory Roof" completable without loss of life.
The game was gamma-released in January 2019, initially as Jet Set Willy - The Mr Noseybonk Version. When a bug was discovered a few days after the initial release, a bug-fixed version was launched under the name Jet Set Willy - The Mr Noseybonk Edition.
