Author: Ian Rushforth
Year: 2016
Language: English
Game engine: JSW48
Jet Set Willy Heaven and Hell is a mini game created by Ian Rushforth and released in November 2016, based on a "quirky feature" of the JSW48 game engine which, although similar to the sometimes observed "Rope-Teleport Bug", had not previously been documented or exploited in a JSW game. The objective of the game is to "try to ascend to Heaven, without descending into Hell", and to collect all of the items, of course.
Number of edited rooms which are part of this mini game: 3
Number of rooms accessible without cheating: 3
Number of rooms which need to be visited to complete the game: 2
(Entering "HELL!" [25] results in a multiple-death scenario.)
Number of items to collect to complete the game: 25
Bugfix needed after original release? NO
Spare lives at the start: 0
Completable without loss of life? YES (item-completable only)
(The game is not Maria-, bed- or toilet-completable, because - by conscious design - after collecting all items the player cannot enter the room where Maria is, or trigger the toilet run. The player remains in the room "HEAVEN" [37] instead, from which there is no exit to other rooms. However, after collecting the last item something happens that shows that the game has indeed been completed.)
Starting time: 00:00 am
Best documented completion time with no unnecessary loss of life: n/a
(No recording is publicly available yet.)
