Jet Set Willy: Key Code Edition is a mini game created by Andy Ford and released in March 2023. It was created "more for fun than anything else" and "built from a completely standard JSW game" during some "3 or 4 hours" of work.
The game features only "The Bathroom", "Top Landing", "Master Bedroom", "First Landing", "The Chapel" and "The Nigthmare Room" (with various edits, added guardians, etc.), plus a special room where the player will be trapped if they try to use the WRITETYPER cheat. Tweaks to the original game engine include, inter alia: the colour code protection appearing after the player loses a life (any input will work though), an items remaining count (rather than items collected), a different font, remaining lives moved to central position and not animated, no colour cycling or sound on title screen scrolling, no pause option.
The game's initial release was followed a day later by a version enhanced with a loading screen, an updated Readme file and the author's RZX walkthrough.
