Subject: other jsw type games
i also have fond memories of a game called
'finders keepers'. i'm off to hunt it down now. i don't
think it uses the same engine but it's very similar in
style to jsw... set in a castle collecting objects
etc...
another good clone was 'dynamite dan' on the commodore 64
(although you may have played a spectrum version). this has
great gameplay and i really, really liked the graphics.
not TOO well drawn but nice and detailed and
colourful. this was set in a clifftop mansion (wonder where
they got that idea ;) and featured a lift central to
the game layout and a river along the bottom with a
raft (which as i remember exerted no friction upon dan
so you had to step along with it to avoid falling in
the water :).
