"i was wondering about matt the other day,
wondering what he makes of all this butchering and surgery
we are doing to his games."
I remember
reading in an interview that he doesn't care so long as
you're not flogging them, in which case he would like a
cut. He didn't say what he thought of it from the
"parental" (for lack of a better word) view point
"i
certainly hope he plays my 'games' when they're finished.
strange how there is no mention of mm or jsw on his
site.... has he disowned them or
something?
I think I'd be horrified
if he played Time Hole. I'm not disowning it (indeed
as my first Willy game it will always have that
certain special place), but it's not even vaguely up to
his standards. As for the website, I was initially
disappointed (to put it _very_ mildly indeed) that he didn't
talk about those games. I guess I wanted to read about
them in his own words. But then I felt bad because it
was like I was almost demanding* that he do what I
want rather than what he wants, which is something I
promised myself I would never do
Personally, I want
to know what he makes of the alterations to the game
engine, y'know, 128 and Geoff's editor.
*Not that
actually I contacted him on this matter. Maybe someone
with more balls than I would care to ask him?
