MMSE doesn't support editing the
graphics for Willy, because they are located below the 20K room file on which MMSE operates -
at 33280-33535 to be precise (see Appendix E of my Manic Miner Room Format
[http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~broada/spectrum/willy/format.html#appendix_e target=new>http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~broada/spectrum/willy/format.html#appendix_e> ]). But it's easy to save a 256-byte horizontal sprite and paste it manually onto the
32K game file (i.e. LOAD "sprite" CODE 33280,256). Note that the four sprites for Willy
facing right come first (33280-33407), followed by the four sprites for Willy facing left
(33408-33535).
