Subject: Andy Noble's editor
I've been thinking about this. If the editor
lives up to expectations, to what extent will it
replace Spec editing? I know it won't replace the Speccy
based Willy games completely, because there's a lot to
be said for the Speccy. The main one would be its
economy - JSWII PC will be great to play with, but it
could easily lead to massive over indulgence that the
Speccy will not allow for. The other thing I think would
be loyalty. We've all come to know and love the
simple style of Spectrum Willy, and I'm sure we would
never abandon it.
But what do you think? Will the PC
editor come to stand beside the Speccy ones? Will it
overshadow them, or will they always be the leaders, while
the PC editor remains more of a novely (Apologies.
That sounds terribly insulting, but I can't think of a
better word for it)
