I am writing my own browser, mail and FTP client
programs. I am not happy with the way Explorer or Netscape
show pages on my 640 screen. You may say I'm wasting
my time on an obsolete machine but a browser for
small screens may have uses on portables. I will be
cobbling parts of the GNU project into a DJGPP GUI of my
own devising. This will produce, initially, a DOS
program which will be handy for emailing your tech to say
your windows is broken again. Pages will be displayed
at full or half scale with tiny smoothed fonts to
reduce scrolling. The GUI I have written will allow some
nice filing and tracking options I don't want to
reveal just yet.
