Subject: Re: gender and nationality
more... gothic (for lack of a better word) flavour to
them than any other Willy game I have yet encountered
(The Afterlife, Vampires and Rumanian[?] carnivals I
feel are more like that than the usual
fare)>
Uhmm... I was involved in the goth movement for a full
four years, and I while I no longer consider myself a
"goth", it's true that I tend to listen a lot to "black
metal", "goth rock" and "medieval" stuff (but I also
listen to "heavy metal" and "classical music"). I
suppose that my games are more influenced by the things I
like that by my nationality; I have checked both
"Afterlife" and "Bulgarian Requiem", and the only Spanish
feature I have found is Rosita, the undead flamenco
bailaora in Afterlife's "La Danse Macabre". And anyhow, I
still read "Dracula" once a year or two and still think
it's a great book.
I'm afraid I'm just a
neo-Romantic...
I suppose that "Bulgarian Requiem" is just a
Willy's version of all those old Hammer vampire movies...
maybe "Madam Blavskja's..." will be a Willy's version
of Todd Browning's "Freaks" or Bradbury's "Something
Wicked this way comes!"...
Concerning religion,
John... I'm very religious, but not in an orthodox way,
so go ahead... unless you begin to defend Satanism
as an alternative to Christianity or something like
that, I don't think I will be offended.
Ok,
enough babbling already.
Yours
sincerely:
