"I typed Monstrum! into my real Spectrum in
December, which I feel has a strong English
atmosphere"
'Doc' Shiels was born in Salford, which I believe is
near your part of town, and did most of his 'stuff' in
Cornwall. I think there is an English atmosphere about JSW
but it's not surprising that Matt is a Liverpudlian -
i.e. that quirky 'Northern' sense of humour.
Being originally from Northern Ireland myself, I have
to profess to being a bit of an
Anglo-Celt.
"(it's a great game atmospherically and visually, and it
plays well, too - the rooms are very well designed,
with some cunning tricks, albeit no quirky features as
such)."
Glad you enjoyed it. I suppose the best JSW rooms are
those that can be described as 'ingenious', so that's
what I'm usually trying to achieve. I like quirky
features but believe that I'd have to use them extensively
rather than sparsely.
Stuart.
