Subject: Re: Possible new commercial MM/JSW games
"or tomb raider!"
Part of the beauty of
JSW is that you couldn't hope to recreate it in a 3D
environment, which keeps people from trying (I think somebody
gave it a crack once, but I forget who. I expect they
failed horribly though). Vive la 2D!
"hopefully
they will just make a funky up-to-date jsw pc
conversion with loads of extra features and an editor! then
we will have two to experiment
with!"
Seconded.
I actually wondered if people like us could get
jobs being paid to design a Willy game for Jester. I
mean, not necessarily *us* - I wouldn't trust my
ability to make Willy games far enough design anything
destined for an actual commercial release. But you get the
gist of what I'm saying. Andrew would make a fortune,
if it weren't for the fact that many (if not all) of
his beloved quirky features will probably get ironed
out in the PC remake :( This is what happens when
companies start making new versions of Willy without
consulting the experts first
