i should also add that the colour, and hence the
effect (creating or destroying blocks), is dependant
upon the bitmap you set for the arrow's 'frilly bits'
in the guardian editor.
to create a
destructive arrow, set the bits to 0 (black), presuming
you've got a black background. foreign attributes are
classed as 'water' blocks even if they are not specified
in the room format.
