Thanks for the info sendy, but I'm going to have to take
you up on this offer! "
okay. take a pc hex
editor, open the tap in it. scroll down till you see the
rooms. these will be distinguishable by the presence of
the room names (presuming you have an editor which
gives you ASCII as well as hex).
now move to the
start of the room name. this will most likely be the
first of a series of blank spaces (presuming you have
centralised the titles). these show up as 20's in the hex
side.
set the hex editor to have 16 colums, and then, from
the first character of the room name (which like i
said will prolly be blank - a '20'), move six across,
5 down, and then 4 across.
[ sounds
convoluted but the reason my method has evolved this way is
because i used to have to make invalid conveyors (off and
sticky) this way when they weren't supported in the
editor ]
you should now be on a 1 or a 0, which
represents the ramp direction. so just change it to
something else and you will have an invalid
ramp.
hope that sorts it out for you!
