Subject: Re: oh and....
" Being yourself a musician... why don't you
compose music for your games? "
i'd love to, but i
find the process too arbitary (sp?), at least when
designing 128k music.
when i finish my MM game, i
will try and do new music for that. i've read the
documentation and it seems simple enough to get my head round.
that might give me more confidence for doing JSW128
music but for now i just can't get my teeth into it and
just end up designing more games in stead of
music.
i can always re-issue with music later... i happen
to like the silence though, helps you think :) (and
you can put music on your stereo and still hear the
sound effects - which are much needed in 'strangel'
!)
" And I'm afraid "Strangel" is too surreal and
difficult for me... I would get frustrated in a matters of
minutes... "
well now you know where the 'strange' in
'strangel' comes from ;)
thanks for taking the time
to play and write your thoughts, i appreciate
it.
" (Andrew's forthcoming game) sounds less surreal
than "Strangel". "
i wouldn't bank on it being
easier though ;)
best,
alex
