I never received this message by email, so it's a
good job I spotted it on the Home page! It makes me
wonder how many other messages I've missed. I asked
Yahoo! to put the message number on each message that is
emailed out, but they have chosen to ignore me
:-(

i played this properly with infinite lives last

night. my goodness there are some stingers here!

:-> last time i had played with virtually every

cheat, but this time i got the full effect of

the rooms ;)

It's not good to play JSW
loaded to the gills with cheats. If I'm playing on a
real Spectrum, I use only infinite lives if I'm
playing to complete, and only WRITETYPER if I'm
exploring. On an emulator, I use only snapshooting (I badly
need a save function for JSW128 on my real
Spectrum!).

in particular i remember being very pleased with

myself having got through rooms like 'flight to the ford' (this looks /impossible/ - it took me

40 mins to eventually fluke my way through!),

Oh yes! :-> 'lorothean' (or

something...

Lothlórien.

it's the room to the left of the fountain/mirror room and it took me ages to work out how to get down!),

A nice puzzle that.
and 'the ring goes south' (nice explosion of
sprites at the beginning!).

It's great fun jumping
over the rest of the Fellowship from the bottoms of
the ramps! :-)

anyway i went the wrong way in 'the parting of the fellowship' and

became trapped.

"Breaking", not
"parting".

i did have fun getting through 'the land of

shadow' though - thoroughly exhausted.

A
candidate for the most difficult and mentally-damaging JSW
room ever! I might do a remix for a MM mass
collaboration game :->

JSW is also a great cure for insomnia, afterwards i slept like a log!

:-) snd in desperate need of some more JSW to play!

I have the opposite problem - JSW games are being
released faster than I can type them in!
