Subject: where's woody
i have now typed where's woody into my real
spectrum except for rooms 192-255. it'll be the last jsw
game i type in before my phd deadline (30th
september), as i'm heavily into thesis-writing now.
i
have been burning the midnight oil over the last few
days with my obsessive search for "one for the
broad-minded" and "don't get kari'd away". i found them at
about 1am this morning! :-)
i did pretty much
sail through them, although i did fall for the
infinite-death scenario when walking back into "one for the
broad-minded" from the top-left of "don't get kari'd away" - i
must have the short-term memory of a goldfish!
:-o
those two rooms look very much like a parody of we
pretty, except for the guardian sprites. i was a bit
disappointed not to see kari krisnkov in those rooms, apart
from as the item in "one for the broad-minded"
;-)
anyway, it was great to see so many quirky features in a
game other than my own! ;-)
btw, there's a
loophole in "totally unintelligent" where you can jump up
off the top of the screen, which is clearly not what
sendy intended! ;-)
