It's true that Yahoo! Clubs will be converted to
Yahoo! Groups, so when that happens, this club will
automatically become the Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy Yahoo!
Group.
Last year Yahoo! acquired eGroups, and converted every
eGroup to a Yahoo! Group. Before they can convert Clubs
to Groups, they have to extend Groups to cover all
the features of Clubs. I imagine this will happen in
a matter of months.
Yahoo! has assured us
that no data will be lost in the conversion of each
Club to a Group (there's a FAQ somewhere, but I can't
just find it off-hand).
