Subject: Andrew Broad losing Internet access :-(
This message is to answer any "Where is Andrew
Broad? Eh? EH??" questions that may arise a few months
down the line.
I have just submitted my PhD
thesis, and since I do not currently have access to the
Internet at home, this places the following restrictions
on my Internet access:
* After 29th
September, I'm taking a complete break from university until
15th October;
* Then I'll be back to prepare
for my viva (oral exam where I defend my thesis),
which I expect to be some time around
December;
* After the viva I'll be leaving university,
possibly forever;
* I /might/ be able to surf the
Internet outside university from time to time. Ideally, of
course, I'd like my own PC with Internet access. But it
is not going to happen any time in the foreseeable
future.
At least now that I've submitted my thesis, I've got
a lot of Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy to look
forward to! :D Indeed, I'd like to reacquaint myself with
all the Spectrum games from my childhood and
adolescence! :-)
I intend to resume work on Goodnite
Luddite (JSW) and Ma jolie (MM) immediately, which
haven't been touched for months due to my PhD. Goodnite
Luddite will be released on 26th June 2002 if I can have
it ready for that date; Ma jolie may be released at
the end of this year, or possibly in twenty weekly
instalments in the advent of Goodnite Luddite.
My
Allana Truman MM game and the long-deferred Party Willy
(JSW) are my next highest priorities; see my website
