to which I replied "I'm buying it for the Matthew
Smith interview about Manic Miner".

assistant said "oh" and looked puzzled! Fancy working in a
shop that specialises in videogames and never having
heard of Matthew Smith
or Manic Miner!

Heh. for a moment I wondered why the assistant even
asked why you were buying it, then it occurred to me
they're probably trained to scope out your interests for
further marketing. Spectrums are a little outside the
market's range at this point :)
