" Anyone who want's to test it, let me know, I'll
send them it :-) "
I'll certainly give it a
whirl.
" Have you thought about using a "scroll" window?
What I mean is, paste all you're screens together and
make a "map" and when willy reaches the edge of the
screen it moves over 320 or whatever pixels. You
wouldn't notice it scrolling of course, it's just another
way of doing it :-)
"
My first version was
actually like that.
Have you ever used the games
factory or multimedia fusion ?
The single screen
option gives you a lot more controll.
If you have
events covering one huge game it is easy to become lost
in our code and events begin to interfere with each
other.
It also causes a problem with active
objects.
All which can be over come but to be honest, the
reason I chose the screen by screen method is that I
failed at it before and I wanted to prove to myself that
I could do it :)
As with the bugs I am
experiencing.
They all seem confined to one room and I can't for the
life of me see what's wrong.
Normally after a
couple of hours you discover that it is something
BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS staring you in the face.
Might just
scrap the bloody room and do another.
Just
stubborn I guess............
