"Dan, I remember you saying you needed special
software to edit the graphics in your editor. Do you think
you'll ever change that and put a graphic editor in
there? "
I've been thinking about that, and the
best I could do is, enabling the user to use BITMAP
(BMP) images in the game/editor for the sprites. Which
of course means you edit the graphics via Paint Shop
Pro or whatever..
I can't do this without the
use of a DLL extension to my program that someone
else has written, I can't promise anything at this
stage.
The special software is only a demo version of DIV,
which has a very good graphics editor and can edit FPG
files (the sprites, blocks and font). You can download
it at http://www.div-arena.com
It's probably
the best bet since I'm not a very good
programmer...
