I've been thinking of converting Soul Mining to PC, either after I've finished the Speccy version, or just transplanting the entire project

Please finish the
Spectrum-version - I don't play PC-versions ;-(

I've been stymied (sp?) by a glitch in the guardian table that means Willy dies every time he

starts a room using the new guardian table.

This
sounds like a bug I once encountered with Goodnite
Luddite, which is explained on my web-page The Bugs in
JSW.
