Subject: About Skint Willy / News about my JSW Projects.
Hello, all my clubpals. Things are going fine for me, but the
University life is being quite, quite hard. Lots of exams and papers
to prepare and write, but I still have a little spare time to work on
JSW Editing.
- I have recently downloaded and played "Skint Willy", by DM_Booze.
It's fun, but some screens are absolutely hellish. The vertical
guardians with horizontal graphics make my eyes twirl, but I must say
they add a mad touch that goes fine with the rest of the game. But, I
have found some odd bugs: the rope in "Swinging to Freedom" is too
long (I assume this a bug?), and in "The School Field", Willy becomes
a garbled bunch of data (Is this what you intended?). Also, in the
screen to the right of "The School Field", there's a hole in the
ground. If you drop by that hole, you die instantly, without having a
chance to do anything. That's all.
-News about my JSW projects:
1) "JSW: Jet Set Manor" has been put on hold, for now. Also, I don't
think the CEO of Jet Set Studios (the porm film company that
released "Lords of Jet Set Manor") to be a member of our club, or a
regular player of JSW, but to prevent a lawsuit, I think the name of
this project will have to be changed. Probably, "JSW: Manor down the
Road" or something like that.
2)My new JSW project has, for now, the code-name: "JSW: Roddenwäld
School". Roddenwäld School is a private, most exclusive boarding
school for the sons of filthy-rich parents that want to put their
children out of their sight, out of their minds for a looong time.
The main character won't be Willy but his nephew (and only
known 'normal' relative; the Willovsky vampires don't count), 'Jet
Set' Jason.
Jason has wrote his uncle lots of letters that never has been
answered (because a) his uncle was lost in Bulgaria at that time and
b) Maria burnt them all). Now we, players of JSW/MM, will discovered
what's happening behind the walls of this most exquisite school.
(note: Roddenwäld is a fictional institution I invented for one of my
short stories, and that is being translated to 'my' JSW universe. No
reference to real institutions has been included.... :P)
