Subject: Once again the Boozefreek makes apologies
First up I apologise for being an awkward bastard......sorry. But I
came in late and drunk and thought to myself I'll play through Skint
Willy for a buzz and then it dawned on me that I'm a really useless
playtester (if anyone wants to playtest my future games for me let me
know through the group or via e-mail). Although Skint Willy v0.5
contained no actual bugs I did make Nomen Luni impossible to cross
which didn't make the game impossible to finish but with this room in
that state it might as well have not been there. after all my
intention was to keep a lot of the original mansion intact. I must
have altered the blue vampire face guardian by accident because it's
vertical descent was drastically shortened I couldn't make a new
guardian to replace this so I had to improvise. I replaced it with a
vertical version of the bollocks sprite from the bathroom. My other
fix although totally unnecessary is that I changed Willy's sprite in
the Nightmare Room which was my original intention, I realised it was
still the flying pig and I didn't want that. I must apologise again
for this especially to Andrew Broad who has probably had to update
his site about 5 times because of this awful game I'm beginning to
wish I'd never written it, it keeps coming back to haunt me. Also
Andrew in regards to your reply to my last post I was interested when
you said you use a +2 to write your conversions, do you know anywhere
in the UK I can aquire a powerpack for a +3 I swapped my friend a
jumper or t-shirt for this in 94 and my powerpack broke and I haven't
been able to use my speccy since 96. I had a 48 but some bastard I
knew took it saying he knew how to fix them then used my speccy for
spares to fix his own..........I never forgave him. Also if you do
know where I can get a powerpack do you know where I can get Paul
Rhodes' JSWED on cassette or disk. This would be most helpful,
interesting and would make my day :) well maybe.
