Well, I've just got my PC back from being repaired (there was an
incident where my brother partitioned the drive, sending it into
chaos, but nothing was lost except some of the programs so don't
worry). Soul Miner has got *about* 42 rooms - maybe more - in various stages of completion now, including the start of a suite of rooms
loosely themed around the album "Pawn Hearts" by Van Der Graaf
Generator. The rooms look a lot better than those in Time Hole, as
well as being both more coherent (just) and with more room to move
around the game. I'll maybe get round to posting some new
screenshots, I'm not sure. The summer deadline still stands, as does the offer to upload all the old posts from the Mass Collaboration clubs
Also, does anyone know where I can get a copy of Spectrum Graphics
Editor? My old one was scrambled by the partitioning incident
Try http://www.void.jump.org/ they have a good list of utilities for
the speccy including a nice little sprite ripper which i used for my
remake of JSW2 :)
