Subject: That Miner has a lot of Soul
I love Soul Miner it was well worth the wait. I've spent a few hours
just wanderin' around it and tryin' the teleporters, then I played it
for real haven't finished it yet but I'm gonna try tommorow. The
skulls look very good I actually said fuckin' sweet when I entered a
room with one in (Hells halls I think it was). It scores highly on
the weirdness factor with the faded sprites and that thingy Willy has
now become, I think it rivals JSW Ivy on weirdness and that WAS
weird. Anyway other stuff, I'm gonna try my hand at editin' a PC
version when I've finished "Willy the Rogue" 62 screens completed so
far which blows my few month deadline away by about 2 months (It's
still nowhere near finished will I ever finish The Down and Out
Trilogy). I had a play around with Dans editor last night then
realised I'd knacked up the actual game so I had to DL it again I
felt pretty stoooopid after that (I had to copy the Dat folder into a
separate one so that the folder with the game in is free to edit). I
guess I should've actually read the readme but I was gaggin' to play
around with it. The mass collaboration game is pretty good so far,
and pretty tough too (I hink it's just a matter of gettin' used to
playin' JSW considerably faster than usual). I just like the way this
group has came alive again in a matter of a week or so there's just
too much to take in. Another thing too, What's happenin' with andrews
site? It was supposed to close 4 days ago, it's still there so has
it? Or will it remain open (I hope it does I check that site quite
often). Also my 128k side project I was workin' on has been scrapped
to a certain extent, the rooms I have already made for it will remain
intact save for a few MINER (sorry) changes but I'm scrappin' my
original plan for now. The rooms that already exist will go towards
the final part of The Down and Out Trilogy (Still Stealin'). Erm I
can't think of anymore to say, even though I know I've already said
too much!
