No, I'm still on-line! :-) I've been reading the messages of this
Group with great interest. I know I've got a lot of replies to catch
up on, but my main priorities right now are finishing Goodnite
Luddite (currently 54/64) for a 2nd December release, and finishing
Ma jolie (13/20) for release in the first twenty weeks of 2003.

BTW, does anyone know the *exact* release-dates of the original Manic
Miner, Jet Set Willy, and JSW II? I believe MM was released in August
1983, and JSW between January and March 1984 (because of the "April
Showers" room in Your Sinclair).

I have seriously considered using it as our title-picture, but after
much deliberation the answer has to be no, I'm afraid.

The title-picture has to be a screenshot of a MM/JSW room. I want
people who visit this Group for the first time to think, "Wow, isn't
this that game I remember from the 1980s? And it can be edited?
Amazing!"

If you think that's big for an image-file, you ain't seen nothing
yet! I recently scanned in a photo of Daniela Hantuchová, which
produced a TIFF file larger than a megabyte! :-(

My website has not closed, and will not close before 15th January
2003 - the earliest day that I might be leaving university. After
that, I hope to bring my website back at a new address, although
nothing is certain at this stage.
