Linear JSW games are dangerous terrain. I made Time Hole linear for
reasons I can't fully explain, but mainly I wasn't as into genuine
rambling as I am now. Fortunately I got over that when I made Soul
Miner, which is greatly superior as a game. One of these days I'll
throw Time Hole out to the masses to remix and rework and see if they
can produce a more successful game
Speaking of Soul Miner, is everyone seeing the correct visual
effects? You should see the flashing guardians freaking out and
flashing (or even deforming) in weird patterns in Berk Straitweb, The
Lighthouse and Electrical Storm. Are they?

Mmmm,. Speaking of endings, Willy's New Hat sticks in my mind as the

only JSW game which doesn't end conventionally. Back when I was
producing a game based on Marilyn Manson's "triptych" of albums, I
had a fairly unique ending planned. I won't say what, since that
would spoil the surprise if I ever return to the project, but it
would have been a shock. John Elliott knows, but I trust him to keep
schtum ;)
Oh yeah, in Time Hole, there's a room which you see whilst travelling
from Into The Vortex to Decapitilla, where Willy walks down a
conveyor. Originally you only saw it coming the other way, but when
Willy is running to the toilet, he stops moving on conveyors
