Subject: My new JSW PC game
A while ago, I started to write a jsw game called "Willy vs the Blair
Witch" for the spectrum but abandoned it because it was completely
crap! (room design mostly). Well, I've strted again for the PC using
my own editor, but I'm doing it so that I can update it at the same
time. The MODs work really well and sound much better than the WAVs I
was using, and most importantly, it saves a lot more memory :-)
If anyone is currently editing a jsw PC game, don't worry, the new
version of the editor will not affect it. Oh, and there are new tile
graphics to use and I'm tinkering with the "phase blocks" idea that
Sendy mentioned.. Also, you can have an extra animation for Willy,
it's the cat that Igor mailed me a while ago (cheers Igor :-))
As for my Speccy JSW game, I've decided to go back to it and finnish
it off.. It seems to play pretty well but the difficulty might be a
bit easy for the hardcore jet-setter ;-) I'm hoping to release it
before christmas.
Anyway, WvsTBW is 20 rooms complete with a planned total of 80.. and,
before i forget, there's still plenty of room for poeple to
contribute their own modules, the one's I've currently picked out are
mostly from cracking groups that cracked the old amiga games :-)
Dan
