Subject: Announcing - JSW:FTB

The Synopsis [for ZX Digest's benefit mainly]:

In the year 2000 (or thereabouts), Jet Set Willy set foot on Beatle
Island. Maybe it wasn't really called Beatle Island, but nobody was
really sure. The cast-iron shore gave a mighty clang as he put his
foot down confidently. It would be the first footstep in an epic
journey into danger and adventure...

Two years later, soa1000 was wandering through his hard drive when he
stumbled upon the lost file of JSWBeatle.tap. "I think it's really
time for me to get this into shape and see about releasing it" he
said to himself. And so he sat down, flicking through the .tap file
to see what could be done. Clearly a lot needed fixing, and he set to
work...

...except that he couldn't. I mean come on. It's been two damn years,
folks. I don't care anymore. So here's the best bits of JSW vs. the
Beatles, welded together with a raft of new rooms to form JSW:FTB,
the finest JSW game without a plot that wasn't made by Geoff Eddie.

I hope you all enjoy this game. Sendy: Sorry I didn't wait for you to
contribute guardians to those two rooms. I just got impatient I'm
afraid, because I really wanted to see this thing released. Andrew:
For your benefit there's a new screenshot in the zipfile, showing a
room done in tribute to yrself, because I know it'll be a fair few
months (?) before you can even play the game, let alone struggle down
into the underworld. I wanted to put it in photos, but Yahoo is being
perverse and insists the JSWFTB folder *I* made isn't mine to add to.

For everyone else, there's the game, its over-lengthy documentation,
the screenshot and the funny picture of Willy being chased by the
Beatles in JSWFTB.zip in the usual location.
