Subject: PC Editor
All is going well, except for one thing.. The new graphic format that
has been implemented to JSW PC means I have to redesign the entire
game from scratch.. I know I can't be bothered doing all that again
(unless someone is willing to help..?), so I'm thinking of doing just
a couple of test rooms (3 or 4 maybe) for poeple to get the jist of
it.
This also means that anybody who has started to make a JSW PC game
can't continue it using the new editor. Though it doesn't look like
anyone has started doing one anyway, but just thought I'd let you
know ;-)
I might also have to cut the maximum amount of rooms from 80 down to
the standard 64 rooms, it depends on how the program behaves..
Right, about the colours for different guardians.. I'm going to put
an option in the sprite editor to be able to alter the colours of
guardians by presseing a key, it does this by converting a set of
colours from the palette and changing them to that of the chosen
colour e.g. red, green, blue, purple, yellow, white, black, and cyan.
So, basically, to have different colours of the same guardian, simply
copy and paste the sprites to a new set of animations and then change
the colours. Not what I wanted for the game but its better than
nowt ;-)
Oh, and there's a new addition to the options screen, you can now
have a black willy! Although you can change the colours yourself in
the sprite editor ;-)
That's it! for now anyway..
