dropped at the technical innovations! I haven't looked at the code
yet, but presumably the room-format must have been extended beyond
the usual 256 bytes/room, as there seem to be more than four
elementary block-types a room!
I was particularly impressed with the crumbling floors, the multi-
coloured guardians, and the special effects - patch-vectors à la
Geoff Mode? Visually it's as impressive as Manic Miner Mythologies:
Eugene - Lord of the Bathroom.
It was quite a culture-shock to play, as it is so much out of the
ordinary for JSW. I have a trained eye for all the loopholes in
MM/JSW, but this one has so many special effects that I often felt
puzzled - most notably in a room called "Bub n Bob" IIRR. It's going
to take a lot of working out once I get it typed into my real
Spectrum! :-)
MvSB is the most technically groundbreaking JSW-rewrite I have ever
seen, and I am in awe of Vidar's incredible talent.
> it's as good as the bonus is bad! ;-)Although the bonus game is billed as "crap", it could still give a
lot of 48K JSW games a run for their money! Visually and technically
it's very impressive - although much of this is residue from MvSB and
MMM:E-LOTB. I don't think I've yet seen all it has to offer, however -
and this is certainly true of MvSB too, of course.

Spectrum is identical to the one downloadable at:
http://jswremakes.emuunlim.com/Games/jsw-woody.zip
Is this the final version?

3416. I assume gawp2000 deleted the duplicates.
