Andrew, that really cleared some things up for me too,
I have had similar problems with my loveable Commodore 64 + Tape
connection, I found the solution in using a TAPE to WAV converter,
then burn to CD tracks, and record onto tape... Serious CD waste ;)
Thank god i'm getting my floppy disk drive for c64 this week!! (From
a finnish Ebay clone).
