Subject: MARIA REVISION C! JU-HU!

Right, revision C of Maria vs some bastards now uploaded! I've
removed a ton of glitches and added a tip top secret cheat menu at
startup. (Press 'c')
Ok... Again, thanx for the amazing feedback. Many interesting
theories regarding the game engine... Each room is still only 256
bytes. Mariavsb is all about priorities. For example the 'fire'-block
can behave as fire, crumbling floor, wall or air. So, if you wants it
to behave as a crumbler, you can't have fire-blocks. (A truth with
modifications, since you can have ramps and conveyors act as fire-
blocks, but then you're out of either ramp or conveyor-effects.)
Antother example: If you want multi-coloured guardians (only the
first four) in your room, you can't modify the air -and item-gfx.
And, yes, there's only 15 bytes for room names, since the rest of the
memory is used for changing the attributes 4 the water-block. And,
please don't ask poor John to incorporate "Erix1-mode" in his Jswed,
coz "Erix1-mode" is a bloody mess, and best suited for an Erix1-mode-
brain, I fear... Soa1000 wondered if I'd do a Speccy128 game... Nah,
part of the fascination of doing such games is the limitations of the
48 Ks.

Ok, have a nice one!
