Subject: Training / The Gaping Pit
Hi, I'm training to become a MM/JSW player, and I noticed some curious
things about the Jet Set Willy dowload page at JSW Remakes!
http://jswremakes.emuunlim.com/Authors/Smith/jsw.htm
Firstly, the "trained TAP and SNA-versions" appear to be nothing more
than the original JSW. Comparing them with the original JETSET.SNA
from 32768 to 65535 reveals no differences.
Then I downloaded the "Z80-version with megatrainer", aka Ian
Collier's JSW hack. It has four new rooms: "Where the Chapel should
be" (47), "Behind the bar" (61), "The Playroom" (62) and "The room
without a name" (63) - which are later claimed on the download page to
be new as of Russ Juckes's 1999 JSW remix The Gaping Pit!
So was Ian Collier's hack released /after/ The Gaping Pit, or has Russ
Juckes ripped him off?
