Subject: Andy Noble's Manic Miner Blitz Basic version + other stuff :)
Does anyone know if Andy Noble is going to make a true Blitz Basic
version of his awesome dos versions of Manic Miner and JSW with all
options for sound updated/original, speed crazy/fast/original etc.
for the PC! Cus right now his BB of M/Miner has the speed option
implemented but not the sound, and I don't think the sound is true to
his Dos version. Anyone else noticed this.
Long live Manic Miner and JSW! I have no doubt people will be asking
in years too come when we have passed away, who was Andrew Smith the
man behind these awesome games, cus they will be played forever by
future generations :)
Andrew Smith you are the most famous and successfull programmer in
history for your M/Miner and your JSW games. Everyone all over the
globe are enjoying them to this very day. There are countless
webpages on these games, try a search and the mind boggles.
I play them on my C64 emulator in their true form and I am 34 in
November this year. I will continue too play them in years too come.
Might even have Manic Miner and JSW Fan on me TombStone :) We all
love yah man for what you have given us when you worked for Software
Projects. Have a good life dude and think of the millions of fans
you have.
This group rocks and I am proud too be a member :)
