Yeah thanks for that, I agree with you that the sprites would be far to small for you to see on the mobile if you didn't have the scrolling. I suppose in it's own way the scrolling adds an xtra dimension to Mr Willy.
Well I think you've answered all my questions but before I leave you in peace are you aware of any plans for Jester to release any other speccy classics?
Jet set Willy would cost a fortune if you had to download all they levels. What about Chuckie Egg Maybe?
P.s do you have a favourite level and for what reason? For me there's something about Miner Willy meets the Komg beast, sort of sums the tongue in cheekness of the game up plus the sheer satisfaction of flicking that switch and watching the beast fall to it's death (sad yes I know, how old am I again?)

None of the phones we targeted have large enough screens for this so
they all scroll (the Series 40 phones scroll the most due to the
graphics being double size - long, long story!). The P800 or the 9210
wouldn't need to scroll but were not considered commercially viable
(but a PersonalJava dev version does exist that runs on them, though).
The very first version (written 16 months ago) scaled everything down
to fit a Nokia 3410 screen (4x4 for the blocks, etc.) but Miner Willy
looked more like Elvis.
Some useless trivia: the game ranges in size from 39k (Nokia 3410) to
120k (Nokia Series 60). The B/W phones have their graphics taken from
the Speccy and the colour phones from the GBA.

Probably...!
