annoying pop-ups on websites, Java is usually the thing responsible for
crashing your browser. Safari is pretty good performance-wise but has a
few bugs, all related to getting the state of the keys, which obviously
makes playing games out of the question; Mozilla and derivatives aren't
exactly performance beasts on the Mac (I have a 400MHz G3 PB running OS
X); IE, whilst now the worst of the bunch as far as most things go, is
the only browser capable of playing my MM version.
