I recommend that you download a Spectrum-emulator, and download Jet
Set Willy in emulator-format. Links to all the different MM/JSW games
(for the Spectrum, and also non-Spectrum remakes) can be found on my
website.

RealSpectrum [http://www.ramsoft.bbk.org/realspec.html ] is a great
emulator, although there are many others if RealSpectrum isn't for
you [http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~pak21/cssfaq/emulator.html ]. For
Windows XP, be sure to download the Windows version of RealSpectrum
(RS32), as the MSDOS version may not have sound under Windows XP. And
don't forget the standard ROM-files (a separate download).

I have just acquired a brand new PC running Windows XP Home, and I am
already up and running with RealSpectrum! :-) The only problem is
that sometimes it goes into a mode where you press a key and it holds
that key for about ten seconds, ignoring all key-presses in the
meantime. If this happens, it seems that the only solution is to
close RealSpectrum and reload it.
