The names are ones that Greg Heslington and I came up with back in 1985.
The numbering relates to my JSW Sprite editor. I think that "Sprite Page"
that other people use is the high byte of the spite address in my list.
One of these days I'll upload the spites Greg and I created, and convert
them so they're viewable in a browser.
Thinking about uploading JSW resources, are there any prefered or common
JSW data file formats? I just save blocks of memory, so rooms are
multiples of 256 bytes, sprites are multiples of 32 (single) or 128 (block
of four) bytes, etc. However, I see a usefulness in a file format for a
room definition that also details what guardian classes the room's
guardian data references, and what sprites those guardians use.
Some years ago I made an initial stabe at working out the .JSE file format
but got no further than:
----8<----
JSE File
========
Bytes 0-255 : Standard Room Definition
Bytes 256-511 :
----8<----
