Subject: Request for help on a nostalgia trip
Not completing Jet Set Willy despite hours in front of my Commodore
64 version as a kid is one my greatest regrets.
Isn't it incredible, the force that can be exerted on the mind by
a "mere" computer game, and one now seen as primitive at that.
Your subculture devoted to exploring and extending these games is
just fascinating. I've been wallowing in it for the last hour when
I should have been doing some real work.
So please help me! Where can a I find a walkthrough or playing guide
for the original JSW that will help me tie up this loose end of life?
I'm delighted to see from the map here
http://www.mdfsnet.f9.co.uk/Software/JSW/JGH/Screens/BigMap.htm that
I managed to get to all the rooms.
But if truth be told there were many that I didn't come close to
completing. Is there a guide somewhere to show me how to do them?
With enough detail to take account of my rusty joystick reflexes?
Many thanks if you can point me in the right direction.
Paul
