I've just found another feature in Dragon JSW that isn't present in
Spectrum JSW (and therefore isn't present in my clone either).

Trampolines.

They turn up in three rooms: THE GAMES ROOM, IN THE WELL and JIMS
NASIUM. What they do is force Willy to jump. You can use left and
right to control which direction he goes in, but you can't stop him
jumping.

Should I try to patch these into JSW64? Is it even possible? Stay
tuned for the next exciting episode....

So how do these compare with the trampolines in Erix1 Mode?
(e.g. "Hopscotch Traps" [61] in Role Reversal). Just that you can
control the direction?

I remember an old BBC platform-game called Magic Mushrooms that had
trampolines and quicksand, which you could fall onto from any
height. It also had a built-in room-editor! :-)

I know I have a lot of catching up to do on the MM/JSW front as I've
been busy - not least with _Manic Miner: Allana Truman_, which now
has thirteen-and-a-half rooms written...

Why does the MM/JSW scene always seem to be busier in even-numbered
years this decade?
