I know I'm doing something wrong with vertical guardians; I had to
patch the left-hand one in RESCUE ESMERELDA, and the second-from-left
one in THE TRIBBLE HUTCH also hits the ground. It probably needs the
same sort of tweaking that MMtoJSW does; either that, or modify the
guardian movement code in JSW so that it corrects for guardians being
out of range at the bottom (as well as the top) of their cycle.
