wanted the GBA graphics. Putting the Speccy graphics in there is
simple enough (just a matter of changing two files) as everything is
stored as PNG images; getting it approved and through marketing &
distributors is a whole different story.

player can pick-up exactly where they left off (it automatically saves
when a call comes in, for example), and the whole thing has been
targetted specifically at mobiles (rather than just porting the
GBA version with a few phone tweaks). I can't/shouldn't really go into
detail until it's been launched. The game engine is essentially what I
started in JavaScript, which for a few reasons (conflict of interest,
primerily) probably won't be finished.
I was never happy with how MM was implemented then marketed, but with
JSW I've got overall control of what goes into the game and how it
looks. Hopefully it'll be something to be proud of, and be extremely
faithful to the original (something that wouldn't have been possible
without the work of others in this group and on the web).
> I have played Castlevania on the GX10 and it seemed ok.I haven't seen much of the Sharp phones - I can imagine it's quite
good as they do 2D sprite-based games really well.
> Do you have any other projects brewing on the horizon?Lots! More mobile stuff for Jester all being well (inc. a brand new
Willy game...!), at least one independent game by the end of the year,
and I'm involved in a PC game released to be released at Christmas. So
yes, lots!
Carl.
